SIGNATURE IMPACT COACHING I have created my own signature coaching style that I call IMPACT coaching. What differentiates my IMPACT coaching from basic coaching is a step-by-step method that will help you get to the root of your issues so that you can move on with your life! IMPACT coaching is particularly useful for situations when you are faced with indecision and lack of clarity, feelings of being overwhelmed and pulled in too many directions or when you are looking for that missing element in your life.
WOMAN-BASED HEALTH AND WELLNESS COACHING Women seem to find themselves in a special place when it comes to health and wellness. We selflessly carry the responsibility as the traditional family caretakers, making sure everyone is taken care of. If you have kids, you make sure their needs are met; you would do anything to take their pain and worries away at any stage in their lives. If you have a husband, you want to create a comfortable home and marriage in which he feels safe, loved and supported. Wait a minute, what about you? Where do you fall into this equation? When do you make time to do what is important to you? Are you honoring your body's needs for a healthy lifestyle? I use the methods of IMPACT coaching as well as additional training in Health and Wellness coaching to help you find or rediscover who you are other than "mom" and "wife". Then we explore the paths to your most optimal balance of caring for yourself without sacrificing the needs of your family. If you are looking for some additional, more concrete approaches for your physical health and wellness, I am also an NASM certified personal trainer with years of experience in helping individuals transform their bodies, both inside and out.
DIVORCE COACHING Divorce is hard. Really hard. Whereas I use IMPACT coaching when I approach the topic of divorce, I am extremely sensitive to the fact that there are a lot of outside factors involved, not all of them within our control. Often children are involved. There are lawyers and judges who rule, and not always in our favor. Our friends and family are there for us, but so biased. You have a myriad of emotions, many of them conflicting. How do you deal with it? This is where I come in. Not to help you understand why are getting divorced, but to help you go forward in your new situation. I help you emerge out of this a stronger and stable woman. I have personally been there on both sides of the fence, so believe me, I get it.
If you were in the house flipping business, would you buy a fixer-upper only to slap a fresh coat of paint on it and do some landscaping? You know, give it some curb appeal all the while ignoring the major structural damage on the inside? It's kind of like going to the salon for the makeover that is supposed to change your life- or so you thought; then you walk out of the salon thinking, "ok, what now?".
Coaching is not a one-stop shop where you can fix all in one 45 minute session. No Wham Bam Thank You Ma'am. Like all good things, it takes time to break down barriers and negative habits and build healthier, more beneficial thought patterns and habits.
That is why coaching is a monthly commitment to start. If you are ready to make some serious progress, you owe it to yourself to commit to at a least a month to start.
